About the Class:
2-Hour Class THESE CLASSES WILL TAKE PLACE INSIDE COZY COLLECTIVE'S FALL 2026 ARTISAN MARKET. COME JOIN US FOR A CREATIVE EMBROIDERY CLASS, PLUS YOU'LL GET TO ENJOY COZY'S AMAZING LINEUP OF LOCAL CRAFT AND FOOD VENDORS. BRING A FRIEND AND GET READY TO HAVE SOME FUN! Bead embroidery is a beginner-friendly craft that creates beautiful works of art with no experience required. Great for kids and adults alike. Join our Bead Embroidery 101 class to learn all the tips and tricks for mastering this relaxing needle craft hobby! WHAT TO BRING: A desire to learn and have some crafting fun! No worries!...You do not need to complete your entire project at the class. You will learn all the skills needed to take your embroidery home and finish at your own pace! NOTE: BEAD EMBROIDERY REQUIRES STRONG HAND-EYE COORDINATION. PLEASE BRING READING GLASSES, IF YOU FEEL YOU MIGHT NEED THEM. WHAT'S INCLUDED: Everything you need for your project, including: > Colored Beading Canvas > Glass Beads > Needles & Thread > Bead Organizing Tray > Take-With Reference Materials w/ Full Color Photo Tutorials ...and more! Any additional tools or supplies you might need will be provided at the class.
Class Policy:
1) Classes take place at the Cozy Collective Artisan Market, which will be held at the 8 Star Events Center (1485 30th Avenue, Fairbanks, AK). 2) Classes will start promptly at 4pm on Saturday and 12pm on Sunday. Please plan to arrive a few minutes early, so you don't miss the start of the class! 4) Classes are non-refundable after booking. Should you need to reschedule, your class payments may be transferred to a different date. However, this change must be submitted and approved no less than 7 days in advance of the class date. Should you need to make a last minute change, please contact us and we will do our best to accommodate your needs. Late attendance or failure to attend the class altogether, forfeits the class payment. 5) Minimum age for students is 10 years old. Students 10-15 must be accompanied by an adult guardian who is also registered for the class. Only paying students may attend the class. Friends, family and children are not permitted. Students under 18 years of age may only participate with the written consent of a parent/legal guardian. A consent form will be electronically provided to any students under 18 after sign up.
